Sichuan University of Arts and Sciences, located in Dazhou City in the eastern part of Sichuan Province, the Land of Abundance, has a history of running schools that can be traced back to Longshan Academy in the late Qing Dynasty. It began to offer higher education in 1976, when it was called Daxian Normal College. As a comprehensive reform project college in the field of education in Sichuan Province, the school has established provincial experimental teaching demonstration center projects such as the Basic Foreign Language Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center and the Culture and Communication Experimental Teaching Center, as well as excellent engineer education and training program projects and excellent teacher education and training program reform pilot projects.
