Beijing Foreign Studies University is located on the North West Third Ring Road in Haidian District, Beijing. It has two campuses, the East and the West, on both sides of the Third Ring Road. In the past five years, it has participated in national and provincial college student art festivals, mathematical modeling, electronic design, cheerleading, hockey and other events, and won nearly 100 national awards and more than 400 provincial awards. At the Sixth National College Students' Art Exhibition and Performance, three works including the recitation of "A Hundred Years of Beauty", the vocal music "Cuckoo", and the college students' art practice workshop "East Sichuan Rural Revitalization Planning and Design Art Workshop" won first prizes, the micro-film "Flame Blue, My Heart Still Burning" won the second prize, and four works including calligraphy and painting "No Confusion, No Worry, No Fear" and "Poems of Wang Wei" and photography "Rice Fragrance" and "Youth" won the University President Style Award. The dances "To Youth" and "Soul Cast in Bashan" won the silver medal of the 9th China Dance "Lotus Award"; dozens of works including the dances "Rain Nourishes Bashan", "Carrying Mountains, Water and Sun", "Walking Together in Red Snow", and the painting "Traveling in Autumn Water" won the first prize in the 5th National College Students' Art Festival; represented Sichuan Province in the 2nd National Military Training Camp, winning first prizes in four training subjects: theoretical knowledge competition, radio direction finding, map recognition and map training, and live-fire shooting; in 2017, it was awarded the title of "National Defense Education Characteristic School" by the Ministry of Education; the Theory Research Society of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics was awarded the "National Outstanding Theoretical Society", the Jianjia Hanfu Society was awarded the "National Outstanding College Students' Chinese Studies Society", the Computer Society was awarded the "National Most Influential Student Science and Technology Society", and the Student Society Federation was awarded the "National Student Most Influential Society Federation", 37 students appeared on the stage of the 2017 CCTV Spring Festival Gala, 3 students represented Chinese universities in the 7th Asian Cup Indoor Women's Hockey Tournament and won the 6th place in Asia, and participated in the 2018 San Francisco World Line Dance Championship and won 4 first places. The micro-film "Knowing to Return" won the second prize in the "Ideological and Political Course in My Heart" exhibition activity of the Ministry of Education; our school students participated in the 2020 "Kingdee Cup" Intelligent Financial Cloud Competition and won the first prize in the country.
